A world of my own.................

Up at the crack of dawn to go to work today. It was a relatively calm day, a couple of cover moves, a chest pains, a fractured ankle and a two year old boy who ran into something at a leisure centre and cut the bridge of his nose quite badly, poor little thing. My Cousin drove down today with his mother, my mums sister, and their dog Beethoven they had a good journey down and arrived at lunch time. After work I drove over to see them all, picking Beth up from home on the way through. Lit'lun was already there. We stayed and had a cup of tea, and my aunt lent me some Cd's of my uncle, who passed away in May, playing their grand piano. I burnt the Cd's to my computer and at this very minute I am sat, headphones on listening to him playing. If I close my eyes I am in Hertfordshire, sitting in a spinney chair eating salad with my friend, whilst Denis plays the piano,Sleeping in put you up beds, in the conservatory, or out in the conservatory watching woodpeckers at the trees in their back garden, walking the dog up the hill behind their house, wandering round Tesco arm in arm with Denis keeping him out of trouble whilst my aunt does the shopping. A thousand memories flow through my mind, making me smile. I open my eyes, my face is wet and my eyes are red, but I listen on...... the beautiful sounds, the happy memories, .... A World of my own...........
