***Abra Cadabra***/
Abra Cadabra..... or New Balls Please!
Today I had a lay-in, when I got up the sun was shining and it was lovely and mild. The dog thought so to! I threw her in the cage in the back of the car, ... well actually she jumped! We set off for a popular area where there are usually lots of other dogs, but it is still a great place to go and sling a tennis ball around.
I have a ball slinger, always handy if you have a dog obsessed with tennis balls, so we set off walking and slinging.
This area was I think a gravel pits which has been turned back to grass land, it has been mowed but there are lots of areas where the grass still grows quite rough, it was into one of these areas that I accidentally flung our rather grubby yellow tennis ball! The dog whizzed down the slope after it and appeared a few moments later with a very clean blue tennis ball!!! we often end up coming home with more than we went with, saves buying them, but hunt as we did we couldn't find our ball anywhere, I had watched it land and knew we were looking in the right place.
Its a nice place to walk if I haven't got time to go too far, and as of yet the car hasn't been broken into, which it has in some other local dog walking area car parks.
