Work again today, my crew mate was a regular member of the station so we have worked together many times and know how each other works. We had a mixed bag of patients today, and more of them were genuine cases! The only real excitement though was when a line of cars pulled over for me to pass then the one in front pulled out just as I drew level, how I missed it I will never know.
My old regular crew mate who was promoted and sent to a different station was covering our area while we were on one job, and on our return she stayed for a while for a chat, it was nice catching up, I like having regular crew mates it makes the jobs so much easier when you both know what each other are thinking and how they will run the scene.
Last night I rang my cousin, as a post I had previously written was about his dad, and I had heard on the grape vine that it had caused some, .. well I wasn't sure and I didn't want to upset or offend him and his family. It turned out that all was well, hopefully he will be bringing his mum down to stay with my mum,(they are sisters) very soon so we will be able to catch up.
