Another fantastic day, so good in fact that I took the horses rugs off, only to find Mouse has grown again, Horses grow at the back first, so for a while their back end is taller than their withers, this probably sounds great to most people, yep the horse is a good 14.3hh to 15.0hh, but my problem is, she is only 18 months old, she still has a fair amount of upward growth time and I really didn't want a mahoosive horse, I would be quite happy if she stopped round about this height and just filled out a bit....... not a chance!
Two lovely sunny days on the trot, the weekend is not supposed to be so good though, I am making the most of it while it is here. I took some photos, the trees are beginning to loose all their leaves now, and the teasels are everywhere, still looking pretty.
This afternoon I had to take Lit'lun out of school early as she had a singing grade exam. She told me she was fine and not nervous........until we reached the practice room then she became very nervous! Her singing teacher, an accomplished singer and musician, was going to play the piano for her.
When her turn came they both left the practice room and entered the exam room, shortly after I sneaked out to listen at the door. She sang really well, her teacher said she would be surprised if Lit'lun hadn't passed, we now have to wait up to 6 weeks for the results. I will have bitten my fingernails down to my elbow by then!
On the way home I got Lit'lun a Krispy Kreme donut as a treat. I didn't have one, a) they are far too sweet for me and
b) it isn't something my slimming world plan thinks helps weight loss! Judging by Lit'lun's I am inclined to agree!!
Dinner over its on to the aforementioned Slimming world.............................
