Today is the day that my Husband returns from uni, this week has certainly dragged by slowly, still at last he is coming home.
Beth had to go to work today which left Lit'lun, who I collected from my mums yesterday, and I to have a day together. We went down to do the horses first, then went to see one of my friends who I hadn't seen for years, Millie, she lives not far from the horses but still we seem to loose touch for years on end. We met when we were both pregnant, we both had a girl and unknown to each other both called them Beth. Millie had her Beth first, so she is known by all as Beth 1, my Beth is Beth 2, these two have kept in touch also which is really nice.
On our arrival Millie made us a drink and hot cross bun, which were home made and the best I have tasted for years!! then we sat and chatter for about three hours solid. She has quite a menagerie, consisting of, I think, 6 cats, a tortoise two snakes, a couple of bearded dragons and some cold water fish, if I have missed out any I apologise.
As we left we agreed not to leave it so long until we catch up again.
Lit'lun and I went home for some lunch then I decided to clean out Twiglet, only then did I realise I have no cat litter for the tray under her wheel, hedgehogs do like to poop as they run and try as I might I can't train her to get off the wheel first! Doh! still she only goes there and the tray not in the rest of the viv.
So out we went again, to my friend Storm's shop to get some cat litter then we put the horses food and hay out before coming home.
When we got back my Husband was already home, safe and sound and glad to be back.
After dinner we talked and talked and didn't get to bed until gone 1 am, and I have to be up in the morning to do the horses.
The above picture is one of Millie's cats who climbs up the wall so that Millie knows he wants to come in!! clever cat.
