Just recently we have been getting very annoying calls from "Unknown" numbers, I have spoken to BT and they suggest picking up and immediately hanging up again.
I on the other hand do have a rather warped and twisted take on things, and have invented a game, together with my Husband we have devised a way to enjoy our unwanted calls and even look forward to them with what I can only describe as excitement.
We have invented a new game!
At this point I would like to say, I have caller preference so I am not on any lists for cold calling, I have a ban on withheld numbers (people are told we do not except withheld numbers by a recorded message), and I have caller ID. Its not as if I haven't done my bit, that and the fact that these people have no legitimate business with me, I have not asked them to phone or want them to phone so........................................
Let the games begin!!
Firstly you will need a pen and paper, as it is far easier to do if you have a few bullet points, then you wait for the call........ when you hear the tell tale pause before someone speaks this is your chance to gather your thoughts..... then just as they begin to speak you say....

You are through to the sexual health help line offer a list of options, each with a press 1 or press 2 option or..... well the list is endless I am looking forward to my next unknown call you never know, maybe they will flag my number as not to be called........................ I guess I will have to find another way of being naughty then!
