Rugs and Dogs

Today when I got to the stables I decided to sort all Mouses rugs out, she has been given loads, and since she has grown, none of them fit her!
I ended up with a pile of about 15 rugs that were no good to us and three that still fit, two outdoor rugs and a stable rug.
I took all the others down to a friend called Jasmin's yard, she has about 20 horses in all so I know that she will have something that will make use of the rugs we don't need.
I was just in time for a cuppa too, so we sat and chatted about all the soon to be arriving foals, about 4 of hers are in foal at the moment!
Whilst we sat, a dog two cockerels and three ducks came into the tack room for a mooch around, all very tame.
I drove back home stopping first at the Blonde birds shop to get Mouse a cooler rug and a light weight waterproof in case we get rain, ha ha I mean for when we do get rain!
After getting a few bits of shopping I threw the dog in the back of the car and drove to meet another friend of mine, Storm, who has two Jack Russell X dogs (just look like cute cairn terriers to me) We walked through the woods with the dogs running free, it was lovely and for the first time, since we lost our Jack Russell to an adder two years ago, The dog actually played with the other two, it was really nice to see, normally she takes no notice of any other dogs even if they are being walked with us.
We agreed to take the three of them out again next week sometime, I am already looking forward to it.
Back home I set to making a chicken pie with the left over roast chicken from yesterday, Then set about a jacket potato and salad for me.
I also got the results of my paramedic entrance exam, I failed, which came as no surprise what so ever.
Back at the horses I hayed and fed, before coming home and chilling out with a glass of wine.
Above is a picture or two of our lovely Jack Russell. R I P little fella. xxx
