Poop

Today I over slept, I can't believe it, I rushed around getting ready and letting the dog out, then I noticed that the draught excluder was about a foot away from the door, it looked as if someone had come in during the night, very odd! I went into the lounge to turn Twiglets light on only to find the vivarium door open, fortunately she was curled up in her bed, that's why the draught excluder had moved!
I got to work in time, amazingly, but how different was today going to be! I was to attend first today, and other than lots of cover moves I only attended to one patient, a liver failure who's electrolytes were all over the place causing all sorts of problems.
we got a late meal break and our Clinical Operations Manager (COM) came in to see us on a flying visit, he is a really nice guy I think we are all glad to have him as our Com.
Then it was Tepics turn to attend.....Oh dear, all his jobs were similar in one respect, they had all been incontinent in one way or the other!
under my nose, which Anyone who knows me will know that I have a really weak stomach for smells, bad smells, and one of his patients had me gagging for a good 10 minutes, I had to go outside and use Vick'sTepic and the single responder we were backing up thought was very amusing, ahh but I was in the front of the ambulance and he was ion the back (haha) all the way to the hospital, so I think maybe I had the last laugh.
Every one was talking about curry today, so when I got home I made a vegetable curry and some Bombay potatoes for Beth and I, although Beth wont be home till late as she has gone to a hairdressing competition/expo, in London.
