Today, I coughed myself awake at 5am!! great!, having done this I thought I would read as there was no point trying to sleep, strangely though I did fall asleep with my book, and that is how I was when my husband brought me a cup of tea after his shift.
I got up and took Lit'lun down to the church on my way to do the horses, Red was shod yesterday and he found that she had a condition called seedy toe in all four feet, Blonde bird got some hydrogen peroxide and a syringe so that we could administer the fluid up into the holes the farrier had made in her feet.
I mucked out and gave them their breakfast before returning home.
I still don't feel 100% yet so was still moping around, until it was time for me to go and get some fresh veg and bread and do the evening ablutions at the stables.
As I syringed the peroxide into the holes in reds feet my fingers slipped pushing the plunger down much harder than I intended and shooting it up into my face, I was glad of the sun glasses! The weather forecast is for rain tomorrow so I decided to put a light weight waterproof rug on Red (she is an old lady after all) Mouse can manage without. Her cuts are still nice and clean so it won't be long before I will be able to take the staples out. I just have to wait for the vets bill now!
Back home I made a cottage pie for my Husband and Lit'lun and a salad with jacket potato for me.
I will be able to book fit with work tomorrow all being well.
