It's my life, as I see it. It's my opinions, my thoughts, and my experiences. The content has changed over the years as my live has changed. The 40 something EMT Wife and mother, is now a Wife and Search Technician with Search Dogs Sussex and as for the age? Does that even matter!

Wet and windy
This morning at about 2am I woke up I hadn't been sleeping very well anyway, but this time when I woke up I noticed the silence.... and it was weird! We have a ticking wall clock in our bedroom, ( I love ticking clocks) and it had stopped ticking!! The silence was almost too much and for the rest of the night I kept waking up.
Eventually it was time to get up, we were due to go riding again today, and this time the Blonde bird was going to come with us on Red, seeing as she isn't working today.
I made a cup of tea before I went putting mine in a travel mug to have when I got to the yard.
After feeding Red and Mouse, I started to drink my tea then decided that I had time to fill the water troughs before the other two arrived. I hung the mug on the open gate and dragged the hose up to our troughs. then as I was going back to get my tea the wind took the gate and threw the mug into the grass! grrr!!
It was such a cold wind and the rain had started to come down, that I didn't really feel inclined to ride out, my phone bleeped, it was the Blonde bird suggesting we didn't ride but had a cuppa at her house.
Then Blonde and Mentals owner turned up saying it was a bit windy and wet and her husband was unwell so we decided to cancel and re arrange for next week.
I drove over to the Blonde's house and we had tea and sponge cake! Very naughty! She also has a new dog, a Jack Russell pup about 14 weeks old and very cute, although I think their other dog got a bit fed up with him at times. We chatted for ages then I decided I had better head off home.
Thanks for doing the horses tonight Blonde bird.
The other day while I was cleaning Twiglet out I put her on top of her vivarium where the hamster cage is, they took the opportunity to say hello to each other!
