Today has been a very slow day as I said in my earlier post (that was meant to be from yesterday) I got woken by cavity wall insulators filling next doors cavity!
Oh what fun.
On the plus side, until they woke me I had actually had a full nights sleep wahoo, the first for absolutely ages but I still could have slept on.....
and on!!!
It was about time to muck out the rabbit, so as it was nice I decided to do that, he wasn't very happy because he didn't like the noise coming from next door, we were fighting for the hutch, he's moulting like mad at the moment.
Then I went on line for a while chatting to some friends. did some lunch and waited for Lit'lun to come home, so that I could go food shopping, £63 and two inches extra on my arms the shopping was done, the bags weren't half heavy today.
Once back at home I started to prepare tonight's dinner, South African, Babotie, together with another dish which I lost the name of and its totally unpronounceable so you'll just have to take it that we all thought it was really tasty and enjoyed it, very filling. Babotie is minced beef or pork with onion,apple, raisins, almonds and some other ingredients it sounds unusual but tastes really good... We will be eating SA again!
Tomorrow we are heading off to Brazil...........
For now I have to be off, I have to help Lit'lun with her fancy dress costume for tomorrows competition at school, she is going as Vermeer's, girl with the pearl earring. Her friend is going as the painter!
