Thursday and Friday

Thursday saw us all having to decide on the trial we were jury for. That is all I am prepared to say about it as
A) I am not supposed to talk about it anyway and
B) I am still confused and dazed!
When I got home I took the dog for a walk and my husband decided to come with me which was really nice, just the two of us and the dog, we drove to the downs then walked for a while throwing the ball for the dog and chatting, it was lovely and warm and lots of people were out with their dogs, I am pleased to say we didn't meet a grumpy person with am over zealous dog this time haha.
We had steak diane for dinner which I am told is Australian.
Friday the blonde bird put the horses out in the morning so I didn't have to go up to the yard first thing. The gas people were back again to disconnect the gas yet again! this was at 8am, telling us it would be back on by 4pm, which is quite bad as our hob, heating and water are all run off the gas.
I decided to take the dog for another long walk and again my husband came, this is becoming a regular occurrence, we took the binoculars this time as we were going to go down to the harbour.
we had been walking for about 3 minutes before the dog found her first patch of mud to lay in! By the time we got back to the car we had managed to get her into some slightly cleaner water to wash some of it off.
Once back home I did some laundry, then when Lit'lun got in she got changed and I took her for her singing and piano lessons, before heading off to the stables to give the horses their feed and hay then put their rugs on and muck out the field. That done I went round to see Gail as she had invited me round for a coffee, we chatted for about an hour before I headed home again.
When I got there I found that the gas still hadn't been put back on and neither had our neighbour. I rang the gas company who said they would send someone round to do it, after a few minutes another of our neighbours knocked to see if we had gas as he had just rung too.
It was another half an hour until we got gas reconnected fortunately I have an electric oven so dinner was cooked in that we had Caribbean fish.
