Kavanagh QC

Today I got up on time, went down to the horses fed them and took their rugs off, yet another lovely day! I had to get back fairly quickly though as I had to be back in court at midday, pity when its so nice I would far rather be wandering over the downs with the dog.
My husband dropped me off in good time and I went in and sat in the jury room with all the people from last week who also didn't get picked, then after a short while some others joined us, we waited and waited then got told we could leave but be back for two o clock, getting a sense of repetition here me thinks!
Anyway a group of six of us go to one of the local pubs, all order coke or lemonade and have a sandwich which I have to say was fab, really good value!
After lunch we went back to the pokey room (one of my crew mates suggested it was like being on cover only with Kavanagh QC on in the background haha) and sat twiddling our thumbs right up till four thirty (which happens to be the time we were told nothing more would be done!!!) when we were asked to go into court to swear the jury in, there were fourteen of us and only twelve required, could I not be chosen again? Not a chance, my name was the third name called ooohhh goody I get a front row seat! what joy!
Hopefully this won't take too long and won't be to bad, so that I can get back to normal again! what ever that is!

By the time I got home my husband had already eaten as he is off to work again, Lit'lun and I decided to take the dog out for a walk ( I definitely needed some fresh air and to stretch my legs don't know about the dog!) then on the way home I stopped at the chip shop and got us some dinner.
