Yesterday, after my husband came home from work I went down to the stables to do the horses, then unlike usual when I would go home again, I groomed and tacked up the blonde horse while her owner tacked up the mental mare, they both belong to the same lady, and we were to be going out for a ride together, it was lovely, warm and sunny. We set off and I found myself riding on tracks that I haven't ridden down since I was a teenager, surprisingly the mental mare is better when being ridden than being led! and the blonde horse is lovely, an old hand at hacking out and lovely to ride. Once back at the stables we untacked and rugged them then took them out to their paddock.
My husband had gone out for the morning also and I got home before him.
After lunch there were a few bits of shopping to do and a sack of horse food for Mouse. Back at the stables I hayed fed and mucked out before returning home to cook the dinner.
