How do you get to sleep, and how long will it be before I just fall asleep where I stand? I am getting fed up with not sleeping properly, last night was the worst for a week or two, I want to sleep and can fall asleep but staying asleep is another ball game entirely! I eventually got up at 7:30am and made a cup of tea, then sorted out the animals. When the vets opened I rang to find out what time he would be along to give Mouse her injections, he said between 3 and 4. I went down to feed them muck out the paddock and take their rugs off,then decided that it had been a long time since I had visited her breeder so I went down to see them and their new and old horses. We all had a cup of tea and exchanged stories of what had been going on.
Once home the Blonde bird came round for a natter and a cuppa, she gave me some free samples of a new horse feed that has just come out, we have both decided to change on to this as it is a complete feed and will be better for the horses and our pockets.
Back at the yard I brought Mouse down from the field to wait for the vet, we didn't have long and it took a matter of minutes for the injection to be given and her passport to be stamped and signed.
Then it was off to do some food shopping then make a shepherds pie for dinner. Its a good job I always over do the amount of food, as No1 son turned up just before we sat down, so he had dinner with us too.
