It wasn't a ferry and it wasn't the Mersey

Today my husband has a study day in London, after asking the blonde bird if she would mind doing the horses this morning I decided to go in with him, take lit'lun and have a day out. We had to leave on the 10 past 7am train to arrive in time for the start of his course, after getting a coffee he left us to go to the study centre, while Lit'lun and I decided what we would do till we met him again for lunch.
We decided to wander down to tower bridge, it was a lovely warm sunny day and as we walked we noticed the river hopper catamarans and decided to go for a spin up the river we got a discount on our boat ticket because of the type of rail card we had so it didn't cost much and the crew told us we could get on and off anywhere along the Thames up until 10pm.
We went up to the last stop then came all the way back down past where we got on till we got to the last stop in that direction too, before getting off at our original place to meet my husband for lunch, which we had at Southwark Cathedral refectory.
After lunch we decided to catch an open top sight seeing bus and "DO" London, it was really good we got loads of photos and Lit'lun and I couldn't stop laughing at the tour guides jokes, we got back to where we were to meet my husband and were a bit early so had a cup of tea.
When he arrived we all went back to the railway station and headed home.
