White stuff

I wasn't surprised when it was white everywhere, Lit'lun on the other hand was surprised, when she got up for school.
Getting to the yard was a complete nightmare the back roads had not been gritted so they were like a sheet of glass, there were two cars in a ditch, then as I got back onto the main road the Blond bird was on her way in the other direction to go to work.
At the stables, all the horses except one were staying in, all the water was frozen, as were all the taps, the girl who owns it got me two buckets of water to put in Mouse and Reds stables. After mucking out and giving them huge hay nets, I took the dog up into the field for a run, she loves running in the snow, I threw a tennis ball for her with a ball slinger whilst I collected up the buckets that we had used to feed the horses in the field.
After leaving I cautiously drove home again.
The Blonde bird came round after work to have a quick peep at Twiglet and a cuppa, before she went back home, before leaving she said she would do the horses in the morning and evening tomorrow as she was off and lives so much closer. Cheers Huni. xx
Back out again, this time to get some bread and teabags which we have run out of from the supermarket, the roads are looking fine now, when I got home Lit'lun had just got back from a huge snowball fight on the green with her friends.
Now we are all just waiting for Twiglet to wake up!
