Years ago when I was single I used to have a stone soup gathering, and I had a real stone (for cooking, all nice and clean) to put in it, everyone who came would bring something to go in it like a potato, carrot, onion, any veg would go in we would slowly cook it up and while it cooked we would chat or watch a film, it was nice to just chat then after a couple of hours have a huge bowl of soup with some bread, I was thinking of doing another one, especially as its so cold now, that and I really must catch up with my friends!
